See How Buick is Taking Your Safety and Protection to the Next Level

Have you heard the news? The Buick Regal Sportback introduces Active Hood Pedestrian Safety System for its new model year. This safety feature is engineered to help reduce injuries in car and pedestrian frontal crashes. The best part is this function comes standard with every 2018 Regal Sportback model.

Curious to learn about how the Active Hood Pedestrian Safety System feature works? It starts with sensors that are located behind the grille of the vehicle. From there, the system will sense impact with a person at speeds between 16 and 30 mph. If the event of an impact does occur, pyrotechnic actuators will lift the rear of the hood four inches, which will provide a cushion for the pedestrian to land on.

The Active Hood Pedestrian Safety System is the only advanced safety features you’ll find with the Buick Regal Sportback. You will also find things like rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning and lane-keep assist, rear parking assist, ten standard airbags, and much more.

As you can see, Buick is taking it up a notch when it comes to the protection of you and your loved ones. You can view our new or used Buick inventory right here at Stephen AutoMall Centre. When you are ready to test drive any of our Buick models, please reach out to us online or give us a call.
